BLORA, WARTAJAVAINDO.COM – Fastco English school, Blora tetap eksis di tengah pandemi covid-19 dan Ramdhan, ala kampoeng inggris PARE yang hadir di Blora, Senin (19/04/2021).
Fastco English school adalah satu dari sekian banyak kursusan Bahasa Inggris di Blora dengan jargon ( Anti gagap ngomong Inggris dan Kampoeng Inggrise Cah Mblora ) yang berada di jalan Gunung Wilis 41 Blora, kelurahan tempelan kecamatan Blora kota, kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah, Pertama kali hadir pada 10 November 2014, oleh Ahmad Setio Widodo dan adiknya, Suci Setia Rahayu.
Di tengah bulan suci ramadhan dan pandemi covid-19, proses mengajar dan belajar berjalan lancar di Fastco English School, dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan.
Ahmad Setio (31thn), menjelaskan adanya pandemi, dari awal pandemi sampai sekarang Fastco sempat tutup sebulan pada bulan Maret dan buka kembali April awal awalnya pandemi covid-19, dan ada penyusutan murid tapi tidak terlalu banyak biasanya ada 150-170 murid, tapi tahun ini sekarang sampai 100 murid, jadi tidak mempengaruhi untuk murid-murid yang belajar, ucapnya
Setio sendiri lulusan dari IAIN SYEKH NURJATI CIREBON sekarang menjadi UIN CIREBON, pada bulan Maret sempat berhenti dan April buka kembali pada awal awal pendemi dulu. Untuk kegiatan Fastco kampung Inggris ini dibagi kelas reguler 14 kelas, ungkapnya. Awalnya terbentuk nggak sengaja, yaitu di tahun 2013 saya sempat mendapatkan kuliah gratis di universitas Kansas di Amerika, sepulang dari sana saya apply beasiswa S 2 ke australia, Sembari menunggu interview saya mencoba untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu yg saya miliki dengan bantuan adik saya.
Untuk sejarah berdirinya, ia menjelaskan:
“awal 2013 saya menggunakan fasilitas seadanya, seperti ruangan dapur dan warung nasi pecel ibu saya untuk mengajar bahasa inggris, tempatnya untuk jualan gorengan dan pecel untuk mengajar bersampingan sama ibu, dulu ada sekat pembatasnya kalau ibu selesai jualan kita tutup, kalau ibu jualan kita buka. Semula hanya 15 murid termasuk adik saya yang sekarang menjadi pengajar di fatsco, untuk kegiatan pembayaran anak muridnya itu perdua bulan sekali satu pertemuan 10.000 untuk dewasa sekitaran 200 ribuan perdua bulan sekali, untuk sekarang menyusut biasanya yang mulanya 30 sampai 40 % murid, sekarang agak menyusut, dan geratis bagi yang tidak mampu”, terangnya.
Selain itu pada bulan Agustus 2020, Fastco English dapat kunjungan dari Perancis dan sudah 3 kali kunjungan, Fastco juga mempunyai agenda panjang antara lain pameran budaya, Resculing, kemudian ekonomi kerakyatan seperti UMKM di kampung pelangi.
“Di sana itu sudah ada saiding desain kaos yang bisa sama kerajinan patung dari plastik namun dengan adanya pandemi Corona ini kita tunda dulu”, tandasnya.
Setio manambahkan, untuk Fastco English school sendiri terbagi Kids Class Program adalah program kelas khusus buat anak, dan Regular Class Program adalah program kelas untuk semua usia dan kalangan, dari private reguler dan ada guru termasuk adik saya.
Kemudian ketika ditanya awak media mengenai harapan untuk pemerintah, Fastco English school rencana akan bekerjasama dengan pemerintah Kabupaten Blora, dia juga menambahkan, “jujur saya sendiri untuk kelengkapan belum begitu lengkap harus ada uluran tangan dari pemerintah tentang kebahasaan ada bidang pembahasaan yang bisa diisi untuk kita dan bahwa fastco siap mendorong Blora nanti kabupaten ini akan memiliki kampung bahasa Inggris”.
