Sejak berlakunya syariat Islam di Aceh khususnya Pemda Aceh Tamiang pada tahun 2008 merekrut Da’i – Da’i untuk ditempat tugaskan di wilayah 12 kecamatan guna membina masyarakat untuk mengamalkan Islam secara benar ,menjadikan manusia berakhlak Mulia sebagaimana yang dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah SAW dalam menebarkan Islam keseluruhan pelosok dunia.
Keberadaan da’i kecamatan di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang sangat dirasakan oleh masyarakat, pembinaan secara rutin , penguatan aqidah ummat, penguatan syariah dan muamalah, menyelesaikan konflik dalam masyarakat.
Da’i juga selalu dilibatkan oleh pemerintah desa, bahkan da’i – da’i ini memberikan pembinaan SKPK di seputaran lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, dengan berlatar jenjang pendidikan berbeda, kemampuan para juru dakwah ini tidak dapat diragukan lagi.
Guna untuk melanjutkan ekstensi da’i di masyarakat hari pada Senin, 16 – Februari 2026 dilaksanakan pemilihan kepengurusan yang baru untuk periode lima tahun kedepan secara aklamasi dalam rapat yang dipimpin Ustadz,M.Basyir, SPd.I di Best Kopi Kecamatan Karang Baru secara aklamasi.
Dalam Farum mengangkat Ust, Mustakim,S.Ud MU sebagai Ketua Da’i Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang Priode 2026 – 2030, keterpilihannya untuk yang kedua kali selama keberadaan da’i di Aceh Tamiang
Kemudian ia menunjuk Ustadz,M.Basir S.Pd.I sebagai Sekertaris dibantu Ustadz Mustaqim, SE sebagai bendahara.
Dalam kata sambutannya ketua terpilih menyampaikan : “kerja dakwah bukan hal yang mudah ditengah bencana yang silih berganti menimpa kita sebagai bangsa, perlu kerja ikhlas, sabar disetiap memberikan pembinaan kepada ummat, saat ini semua masyarakat membutuhkan contoh sebagaimana yang diberikan Rasulullah, SAW kepada para sahabat dan unmatnya”.
