Polres Wonogiri Ungkap Peredaran Uang Palsu, Satu Orang Diamankan

WONOGIR – WARTA JAVAINDO, Jajaran Sat Reskrim Polres Wonogiri berhasil mengungkap kasus dugaan tindak pidana pengedaran uang palsu.

Pelaku diketahui bernama Ardi Paramusdita (31) warga Kecamatan Jatisrono Kabupaten Wonogiri.

Kapolres Wonogiri AKBP Jarot Sungkowo, S.H., S.I.K., melalii Kasi Humas AKP Anom Prabowo, S.H., M.H., mengungkapkan, Kasus ini berawal dari kecurigaan seorang agen tiket bus malam di terminal Ngadirojo yang mendapati adanya uang palsu dari seorang pembeli tiket.

Merasa curiga dengan keaslian uang tersebut, ia kemudian membawa uang tersebut ke Bank BRI untuk mengecek keaslian uang tersebut.

Dari hasil pengecekan diketahui uang tersebut dipastikan uang palsu. Atas kejadian tersebut ia melaporkan ke Polsek Ngadirojo.

Mendapati laporan adanya uang palsu, petugas lantas melakukan penyelidikan dan berhasil menangkap Ardi Pramudhita (31) di kediamannya di wilayah Kecamatan Jatisrono.

Dari tangan Pelaku, petugas berhasil mengamankan barang bukti uang palsu senilai Rp 6.100.000,- (Enam Juta Seratus Ribu Rupiah)

Saat ini pelaku dan barang bukti telah diamankan di Polres Wonogiri untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut. Polisi terus melakukan pengembangan guna mengungkap kemungkinan adanya jaringan yang lebih luas terkait peredaran uang palsu ini.

“Dari kejadian ini, kami menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk mewaspadai peredaran uang palsu, dan apabila mendapati adanya peredaran uang palsu agar menginformasiman kepada kami, ” Imbaunya.

Kepada pelaku disangkakan pasal 36 ayat 3 Jo Pasal 26 ayat 3 UU No. 7 Tahun 2011 Tentang mata uang dengan ancaman hukuman 15 tahun penjara dan denda 50 Miliar. (No2t)
