Pj. Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat Mohammad Bari, S.Sos., M.Si., buka Pertemuan Komite Pengelola Bersama Perikanan (KPBP).

KALBAR – WARTA JAVAINDO, Pj. Sekda Prov. Kalbar menyampaikan tujuan dari diadakannya pertemuan ini untuk membangun jejaring komunikasi bersama pemangku kepentingan perikanan di Kalimantan Barat, diharapkan komite ini dapat menghasilkan rekomendasi dalam menentukan arah kebijakan pembangunan Perikanan di Kalbar supaya berjalan efektif dan efisien guna menghadapi tantangan permasalahan yang dihadapi bersama di dunia perikanan saat ini khususnya di Kalimantan Barat.

Sementara itu Perwakilan Direktorat Jenderal Perikanan Tangkap KKP menyampaikan, bahwa KKP telah mencanangkan pembangunan strategis melalui kebijakan ekonomi biru. Yang memngabungkan aspek biologi, sosial  dan ekologi yang seimbang dalam tata kelola kelautan dan perikanan nasional.

Dalam mengimplementasikan tata kelola DJPT, Usaid Ber-IKAN Pemrintah Prov. Kalbar melakukan pembentukan komite pengelola bersama perikanan, hal ini sangat penting untuk membangun pehaman bersama di semua lini sektor perikanan yang ada di Kalimatan Barat.

Dengan pengelolaan bersama berbasis pertisipasi diharapan pihak pihak terkait dapat terlibat demi keberlanjutan sumber daya perikanan yang ada di Kalimantan Barat.

Perwakilan Usia berikan berharap dengan kegiatan pembentukan komite ini di harapkan jumlah data produksi perikanan akan terus meningkat, baik di sektor perikanan tangkap dan budidaya sehingga dapat meningkatkan angka konsumsi ikan perkapita/tahun, demi memenuhi kebutuhan pasar global maupun dalam negeri.

Kegiatan yang di Fasilitasi USAID Ber- IKAN di hadiri oleh Direktorat Jenderal Perikanan Tangkap, Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan RI; Perwakilan USAID Ber-IKAN Indonesia. Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan, Setda Prov. Kalbar, DKP Kalbar daj Bidang Terkait, Lembaga/Instansi Vertikal di Prov. Kalbar  Para Peneliti dan Akademisi, Perwakilan Nelayan, LSM, Industri Perikanan dan Asosiasi serta Supplier Perikanan di Kalimantan Barat.
