GUNUNGKIDUL, DIY wartajavaindo.com — Pemerintah Kabupaten Gunungkidul meresmikan peluncuran Gerakan Orang Tua Asuh Cegah Stunting (GENTING) di Kapanewon Karangmojo, Rabu (14/5/2025).
Kegiatan ini digelar bersamaan dengan bakti sosial pelayanan Keluarga Berencana (KB) dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ikatan Bidan Indonesia (IBI) di 12 fasilitas kesehatan di seluruh kabupaten.
Gerakan GENTING merupakan inisiatif kolaboratif untuk mengintervensi keluarga berisiko stunting melalui pendekatan gotong royong. Program ini menargetkan keluarga-keluarga dengan balita stunting berdasarkan data KRS dan E-PPGBM dari Dinas Kesehatan.
“GENTING bukan sekadar bantuan, tapi bentuk keberpihakan sosial masyarakat. Ini mencerminkan semangat Gunungkidul Raya yang adil, makmur, lestari, dan berkeadaban,” ujar Wakil Bupati Gunungkidul, Joko Parwoto, dalam sambutannya.
Ia menambahkan, persoalan stunting bersifat multidimensi dan tidak bisa diselesaikan oleh satu sektor saja. “Kami mengajak ASN, organisasi profesi, tokoh agama, hingga komunitas pemuda menjadi bagian dari solusi. Jadilah orang tua asuh yang tidak hanya memberi, tapi juga hadir dan mendampingi,” kata Joko.
Sekretaris Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Sujarwo mengatakan, gerakan GENTING sudah diterapkan di empat kapanewon, yakni Semin, Gedangsari, Girisubo, dan Karangmojo. Bentuk intervensinya beragam, mulai dari program “babonisasi” (pemberian ayam petelur), lantainisasi rumah, penyediaan air bersih, hingga pembangunan jamban sehat.
“Untuk Kapanewon Karangmojo, program ini mendapat dukungan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dari BPD DIY sebesar Rp 50 juta yang digunakan untuk intervensi pemenuhan gizi dan sanitasi keluarga berisiko stunting,” papar Sujarwo.
Pihaknya juga mengatakan, gerakan ini juga akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui pemetaan dan pendampingan individual. Setiap orang tua asuh akan mendampingi keluarga sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Mulai dari masalah administrasi kependudukan, jaminan kesehatan, hingga kebutuhan gizi khusus.
“Selain peluncuran GENTING, pelayanan KB yang digelar hari ini juga difokuskan pada peningkatan penggunaan metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang (MKJP) sebagai bagian dari strategi pencegahan stunting,” katanya
Sujarwo menambahkan, berdasarkan Keputusan Bupati Gunungkidul Nomor 4/KPTS/2024, terdapat 10 kalurahan prioritas stunting tahun 2025, di antaranya Semanu, Hargomulyo, Tegalrejo, Semin, Ngeposari, Candirejo, Watusigar, Karangasem, Tancep, dan Karangmojo.
“Sebagai bagian dari laporan quick win, Dinas PMKP2KB mencatat telah melaksanakan percepatan penurunan stunting melalui gerakan Gertak Stunting di 144 desa. Langkah ini termasuk pelatihan pelaporan digital untuk kader pembangunan manusia, peningkatan insentif melalui APBKAL, serta pelaksanaan minilokakarya lintas sektor secara rutin,” paparnya.
