SEKADAU, WARTAJAVAINDO – Polda Kalbar – Personel gabungan piket fungsi Polres Sekadau melaksanakan patroli Kamtibmas pada Rabu malam (21/5/2025), menyasar sejumlah titik keramaian yang rawan aktivitas hingga larut malam. Salah satunya adalah Taman Lawang Kuari, yang terletak di Jalan Merdeka, Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir.
Sekitar pukul 23.00 WIB, petugas mendatangi remaja yang tengah berkumpul hingga larut malam di area taman tersebut. Kedatangan petugas bukan untuk membubarkan secara paksa, melainkan memberikan edukasi secara persuasif mengenai pentingnya menjaga ketertiban dan menghindari aktivitas yang berpotensi mengarah pada tindakan premanisme.
Kanit I SPKT Polres Sekadau, IPDA Rio Kalbarino, yang memimpin jalannya patroli Kamtibmas malam itu, menyampaikan keprihatinannya terhadap fenomena remaja yang kerap nongkrong tanpa tujuan yang jelas hingga larut malam.
“Kami sampaikan bahwa aktivitas seperti ini, jika tidak disertai tujuan yang positif, dapat membuka celah terhadap aksi kriminal. Bukan hanya berisiko menjadi korban, tetapi juga bisa terjerumus dalam perilaku negatif seperti premanisme,” ujar IPDA Rio dalam keterangan tertulisnya pada Kamis (22/5/2025).
Melalui pendekatan persuasif, petugas mengajak para remaja merenungkan pentingnya menjaga diri dan lingkungan sekitar. Tampak para remaja menyimak dengan seksama setiap penjelasan yang disampaikan petugas.
“Tujuan kami bukan sekadar menegur, tetapi mendorong kesadaran bersama bahwa keamanan adalah tanggung jawab kita semua, termasuk generasi muda,” lanjutnya.
Menurut IPDA Rio, taman kota memang menjadi salah satu titik kumpul favorit, terutama bagi anak muda. Namun tanpa pengawasan dan kesadaran, tempat tersebut bisa menjadi celah munculnya berbagai potensi gangguan Kamtibmas.
