Polda Jateng Tangkap Enam Pelaku Sindikat Pembuat dan Pengedar Uang Palsu; Dua Bulan Beroperasi Cetak 4000 Lembar Uang Rp 100 Ribu

SEMARANG – WARTA JAVAINDO, Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum (Ditreskrimum) Polda Jawa Tengah berhasil mengungkap jaringan pembuat dan pengedar uang palsu yang meresahkan masyarakat. Enam tersangka dengan peran berbeda diamankan petugas saat beraksi di wilayah Boyolali dan di sebuah rumah tempat produksi uang palsu di Yogyakarta.
Hal ini diungkapkan Dirreskrimum Polda Jateng Kombes Pol Dwi Subagio dalam konferensi pers yang digelar di Mako Ditreskrimum Polda Jateng pada Selasa, (5/8/2025) pukul 10.00 WIB. Dirinya menyebut bahwa pengungkapan ini berawal dari laporan masyarakat terkait dugaan peredaran uang palsu di Kabupaten Boyolali.
“Berbekal informasi tersebut, tim Resmob Polda Jateng melakukan penyelidikan intensif hingga akhirnya berhasil menangkap dua orang tersangka yakni W (70), warga Kabupaten Boyolali, dan M (50), warga Kecamatan Pasar Kemis, Kabupaten Tangerang,” jelas Kombes Pol Dwi Subagio.
Keduanya diamankan pada Jumat, 25 Juli 2025 di depan sebuah warung makan di Banyudono, Boyolali. Dari tangan keduanya petugas mendapati barang bukti berupa uang palsu sebanyak 410 lembar pecahan Rp100.000.
Hasil pengembangan dari dua tersangka tersebut kemudian mengarah kepada dua tersangka lain, yakni BES (54), warga Kecamatan Kota Kudus, Kabupaten Kudus, yang turut berperan menjual dan mencari pembeli uang palsu serta tersangka HM (52), warga Kecamatan Rancabungur, Kabupaten Bogor, yang berperan sebagai pemodal sekaligus pencari peralatan produksi.
Tidak berhenti disitu, petugas terus melakukan pengembangan dan mendapatkan keterangan bahwa pembuatan uang palsu dilakukan di sebuah rumah yang beralamat di Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Di lokasi tersebut petugas melakukan penangkapan terhadap JIP alias Joko (58), warga Kecamatan Secang, Kabupaten Magelang, yang bertindak sebagai desainer dan pembuat uang palsu, serta DMR (30), warga Kecamatan Depok, Sleman, sebagai pemilik rumah tempat produksi uang palsu.
Di lokasi itu petugas juga menemukan barang bukti berupa peralatan yang digunakan untuk membuat uang palsu, 500 (lima ratus) lembar uang palsu pecahan 100.000 (seratus ribu), 1800 (seribu delapan ratus) lembar uang palsu setengah jadi, dan 480 (empat ratus delapan puluh Lembar) Lembar uang palsu yang belum di potong. Selanjutnya para tersangka dan barang bukti dibawa petugas ke Mako Ditreskrimum Polda Jawa Tengah.
“Modus yang mereka jalankan adalah memproduksi uang palsu pecahan Rp100.000 dan menjualnya dengan perbandingan 1:3. Artinya, setiap Rp100 juta uang palsu dijual seharga Rp 30 juta. Dari hasil penggeledahan, kami temukan ribuan lembar uang palsu dalam berbagai tahap produksi, serta peralatan lengkap untuk percetakan,” ungkap Kombes Pol Dwi Subagio.
Ia menambahkan, sindikat ini telah beroperasi sejak awal Juni 2025 dan telah mencetak sekitar 4.000 lembar uang palsu, di mana 150 lembar di antaranya diduga sudah sempat beredar di masyarakat.
Menanggapi pengungkapan ini, Kepala Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Propinsi Jateng, Rahmat Dwi Saputra mengapresiasi kinerja dari petugas Ditreskrimum Polda Jateng yang berhasil menangkap para pelaku sindikat peredaran uang palsu. Dirinya turut memberikan kiat agar masyarakat tidak menjadi korban dari peredaran uang palsu.
“Kami meminta masyarakat untuk melakukan triple checking terhadap uang yang diterimanya, yaitu melalui 3 D (Dilihat, Diraba, Diterawang). Selain itu ada ciri khusus yang terdapat pada uang asli namun tidak dimiliki uang palsu diantaranya gambar air, benang pengaman, gambar rectoverso, serta tinta yang dapat berubah warna (OVI). Sebagai upaya edukasi bagi masyarakat kami juga rutin menggelar kegiatan sosialisasi tentang Cinta, Bangga, dan Paham Rupiah serta memasukkannya sebagai bahan ajar materi di sekolah,” ujarnya.
Untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya, keenam tersangka dijerat dengan Pasal 244 dan 245 KUHP tentang membuat dan mengedarkan uang palsu serta Undang-undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2011 tentang Mata Uang, dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara.
Menutup konferensi pers, Kabid Humas Polda Jateng Kombes Pol Artanto menghimbau masyarakat untuk selalu waspada dan tidak ragu melapor apabila menemukan dugaan peredaran uang palsu di wilayahnya.
“Jika Anda menerima uang yang mencurigakan, jangan ragu untuk menolaknya atau melaporkannya ke pihak kepolisian. Jangan coba-coba membelanjakan uang palsu karena justru bisa dikenai sanksi pidana. Peran aktif masyarakat sangat penting untuk memutus mata rantai kejahatan ini,” tandas Kombes Pol Artanto.
