GUNUNGKIDUL, wartajavaindo.com – Upacara Peringatan Hari Pahlawan 10 November 2024 di Alun-Alun Kota Wonosari berlangsung khidmat dengan mengangkat tema “Teladani Pahlawanmu, Cintai Negerimu.” Tema ini membawa pesan penting bagi masyarakat untuk meneladani semangat kepahlawanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan memperkuat rasa cinta terhadap tanah air.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Komandan Detasemen TNI AU Gading Mayor Lek Marwan Purnomo membacakan amanat dari Menteri Sosial RI, Saifullah Yusuf. Dalam amanatnya, Saifullah menegaskan pentingnya menghargai para pahlawan yang telah mengorbankan jiwa dan raga demi terwujudnya kemerdekaan Indonesia.
“Mereka adalah patriot bangsa yang telah mengorbankan segalanya untuk mencapai Indonesia merdeka, dan kini mewariskannya kepada kita untuk dilanjutkan demi tercapainya cita-cita Indonesia yang sejahtera, adil, dan makmur,” ucapnya, Minggu (10/11/2024).
Amanat tersebut juga mengupas makna tema Hari Pahlawan tahun ini. “Teladani Pahlawanmu” mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk menjadikan semangat kepahlawanan sebagai inspirasi dalam pikiran dan tindakan sehari-hari.
Sedangkan “Cintai Negerimu” menekankan pentingnya setiap bentuk pengabdian yang berarti bagi kemajuan bangsa, terutama di tengah situasi global yang penuh ketidakpastian.
“Mencintai negeri bukan hanya tentang kebanggaan semata, tetapi juga memperkuat solidaritas, persaudaraan, dan persatuan sosial,” tandasnya.
Saifullah juga menyoroti perubahan bentuk perjuangan yang dihadapi bangsa Indonesia dari masa ke masa. Dulu, perjuangan terfokus pada melawan penjajahan, sedangkan kini tantangan terbesar adalah memberantas kemiskinan, kebodohan, dan ketimpangan sosial.
“Semangat kepahlawanan saat ini harus diwujudkan dalam semangat membangun kemakmuran, perlindungan sosial, dan kesejahteraan yang inklusif bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia,” tambahnya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa menjadi pahlawan bukan hanya milik masa lalu. Saat ini, ladang perjuangan tetap terbuka bagi siapapun yang ingin memperjuangkan kemajuan dan kehormatan NKRI di kancah global.
“Melalui peringatan Hari Pahlawan kita harapkan menjadi momentum bagi masyarakat untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai kepahlawanan sesuai tantangan zaman,” katanya.
“Jangan pernah lelah untuk meneladani dan mewarisi nilai-nilai kepahlawanan. Mulailah dari diri sendiri, dari hal-hal kecil yang bisa dilakukan di sekitar kita, demi kemaslahatan bersama,” ujar Mayor Lek Marwan Purnomo menutup upacara.
Acara dilanjutkan dengan prosesi Tabur Bunga di Taman Makam Pahlawan Bhakti Pertiwi yang diikuti Forkopimda bersama dengan para Veteran.
Dengan demikian, Hari Pahlawan 2024 ini diharapkan menjadi inspirasi bagi masyarakat untuk terus berjuang demi kemajuan dan persatuan Indonesia, serta menanamkan nilai-nilai kepahlawanan pada generasi mendatang.
