Kepolisian Republik Indonesia Resort (Polres) Demak melalui Reserse Narkoba menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pencanangan Kampung Tangguh Bersih Narkoba (Kampung Tangguh Bersinar). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Teluk Kecamatan Karangawen Kabupaten Demak dan dihadiri oleh Forkopimcam, stake holder terkait serta tokoh masyarakat setempat. (Rabu, 10/8/2022)
Kepala Satuan Reserse Narkoba (Kasat Resnarkoba) Polres Demak, AKP Tri Cipto Adi Purnomo, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk meminimalisir penyalahgunaan nnarkoba yang ada di Kabupaten Demak. Meskipun secara medis narkoba itu ada manfaatnya, akan tetapi lebih banyak mudlaratnya karena prosentase penyalahgunaannya lebih besar. Melalui pembentukan Kampung Tangguh Bersih Narkoba (Kampung Tangguh Bersinar) ini bisa dijadikan sebagai upaya pencegahan secara preventif.
Dikatakan, tahun 2022 ini sudah ada 32 kasus yang diproses di Polres Demak. Warga yang ketahuan mengedarkan narkoba maka harus dilakukan mekanisme hukum sesuai yang berlaku, sementara bagi pecandu harus direhabilitasi di tempat-tempat yang sudah disediakan.
Senada, Wahyu Ratriyani, Kepala Sub. Bagian Umum Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Kabupaten Kendal, mengatakan lembaga pemasyarakatan (Lapas) saat ini penuh sesak dengan pecandu narkoba. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut maka perlu dibentuk kantong-kantong desa anti narkoba. Kegiatan semacam ini harus ada tindaklanjutnya berupa pembentukan relawan desa anti narkoba yang diketuai oleh Kepala Desa.
“Secara medis manfaat atau kegunaan narkoba untuk dunia kesehatan itu hanya diangka 10 %, sisanya yang 90 % itu lebih kepada penyalahgunaan”, terang Wahyu Ratriyani.

Sekretaris Gerakan Rakyat Anti Madat (Geram) Kabupaten Demak, Rohmad Soleh, yang hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut mendukung penuh upaya dari Polres Demak dalam melawan penyalahgunaan narkoba di wilayah hukum Kabupaten Demak.
Geram sebagai mitra dari BNN dan Polri akan fokus mengadakan sosialisasi bahaya narkoba di kalangan pelajar, pemuda dan para santri pondok pesantren yang ada di Kabupaten Demak.
Ditemui di tempat terpisah, Ketua Geram Demak, Muhammad Ali Maskun, menyampaikan terima kasihnya atas apresiasi dari Polres Demak yang ikut melibatkan Geram dalam program pencanangan kampung tangguh bersih narkoba (Kampung Tangguh Bersinar) tersebut.
“Semoga ke depan bisa semakin bersinergi membawa manfaat bagi masyarakat kota Wali”, terang Aku Maskun.
Ditambahkannya, bahwa dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia (HUT Kemerdekaan RI) ke-77 Tahun 2022 ini, Geram akan mengadakan sosialisasi bahaya narkoba di 4 tempat. Ini merupakan komitmen Geram Demak dalam ikut membantu pemerintah untuk membentengi generasi muda akan bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba.
