DEMAK, wartajavaindo.com – Wakapolsek Wedung hadiri sosialisasi vaksinasi Covid-19 tingkat Kecamatan Wedung. Sebagai tindak lanjut dari upaya penanganan covid-19 yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah adalah vaksinasi terhadap warga negara Indonesia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan fakta bahwa hingga kini pandemi virus Corona belum juga berakhir.
Vaksinasi atau imunisasi bertujuan untuk membuat sistem kekebalan tubuh seseorang mampu mengenali dan dengan cepat melawan bakteri atau virus penyebab infeksi. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dengan pemberian vaksin COVID-19 adalah menurunnya angka kesakitan dan angka kematian akibat virus ini.
Vaksinasi yang akan diberikan kepada warga masyarakat disosialisasikan oleh Puskesmas Wedung di aula Kecamatan Wedung. Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Camat Wedung Mulyanto, AP, M.Si, Kapolsek Wedung diwakili Wakapolsek Iptu Muammar, SH, Danramil Wedung diwakili Bataud Serma Wahyu, Kepala Puskesmas Wedung 1 dr. Urip S, kepala UPTD se-Kecamatan dan ketua KUA Wedung, dan Kepala desa se-Kecamatan Wedung, Senin 08 Maret 2021.
Agar pelaksanaan vaksinasi di Kecamatan Wedung berjalan sesuai rencana, diharapkan para stakeholder baik Forkopimcam, pemerintah desa, dan instansi terkait, untuk selalu berkoordinasi satu sama lain sekalipun skala perbandingan penduduk Kecamatan wedung antara yang sehat dan yang terpapar covid-19 tidak signifikan. Ini sebagai sinyal baik bahwa tingkat kesadaran warga masyarakat untuk mentaati protokol kesehatan sangat baik.
Demikian juga peran satgas covid-19 yang telah bekerja secara profesional di posko PPKM berbasis mikro pada tiap desa sehingga penanganan covid-19 bisa maksimal.
Vaksin COVID-19 diharapkan bisa menjadi solusi untuk menyudahi pandemi yang telah memakan banyak korban jiwa serta melumpuhkan aktivitas masyarakat. (Humas Polsek Wedung/Waftah)
